From farm to face: our oil process
1. Harvesting Season
Hand-picked at peak ripeness from our orchards each January–February.
2. Separation & Seed Recovery
Fruit is pulped; juice/pulp go to food uses. Seeds are thoroughly washed to remove natural sugars.
3. Sun-drying & Storage
Seeds are dried on raised airing beds, then bagged and stored cool and dry until pressing.
4. Cold-press Extraction
Small-batch, low-speed mechanical pressing minimizes heat. Each 375 kg seed run yields 15 L of pure cactus seed oil.
5. Natural Clarification & Fine Filtration
Fresh oil rests so fine solids settle, then passes through a fine filter prior to bottling.
6. Quality Checks
Every batch is coded for traceability and third-party lab tested for quality verification.
7. Protective Bottling
Fresh oil is bottled into UV-protective amber glass, nitrogen-flushed, batch-coded and dated.
